General description: Swertia bimaculata, Swertia japonica, Swertia chirata and swertia pseudochinensis, it is the gentianaceae perennial herbs of the genus Swertia. Swertia bimaculata and swertia pseudochinensis distributed in Northeast China; Swertia japonica mainly produced in Japan; Swertia chirata mainly in India, nepal. The main ingredients of the four are similar, and the extracts of the dried whole grass are used in cosmetics. The whole plant used as medicine, is a common Tibetan medicine, Tibetan named "Dida", also called "tibet capillary artemisia". The folk custom of Tujia ethnic minority is called greater plantain, Coptis chinensis Franch, etc.. Have the effect of clearing away heat and toxic material, smoothing liver and cholagogic.
